Bridging Dreams with Circuits and Code: Empowering Young Minds in Kurigram

At Cloud Number 24, we believe technology should be a bridge — not a barrier. Our mission goes beyond building software. We are committed to building futures, especially in places where opportunity is limited but potential is limitless.

Most of our team proudly comes from Kurigram, the northernmost district of Bangladesh. It is a region shaped by resilience, yet challenged by poverty, recurring floods, and unequal access to education. To the outside world, Kurigram is often seen through the lens of hardship. To us, it is home — and it is where meaningful change must begin.

Over the past few months, we have been collaborating with Moner Ronger Pathshala (মন রঙের পাঠশালা) through our social outreach initiative. Together, we are developing a new learning program on robotics and digital awareness for children and youth aged 7–20. Our goal is simple: spark curiosity, build confidence, and equip the next generation with the skills needed to thrive in a digital world.

Recently, our team visited a rural school in Fulbari Upazila, Kurigram to conduct a hands-on robotics workshop. The classroom filled with excitement as children explored circuits, sensors, and simple automation concepts for the very first time. Local youth leaders joined as trainees, preparing to guide future sessions and carry this initiative forward.

Their enthusiasm, focus, and quick learning reminded us of a powerful truth — talent is everywhere, but access is not.

As part of the program, we handed over a set of robotics equipment to the school so learning can continue beyond our visits. The initiative will follow a hybrid model:

  • Ongoing online classes conducted from Dhaka

  • Practical support delivered in classrooms by our trained local volunteers

  • Periodic in-person workshops to strengthen engagement and mentorship

Cloud Number 24’s founder, M. Tanzim Dibosh, reflected on the experience:

“These kids are brilliant. They just needed the opportunity. We’re not just teaching robotics — we’re unlocking potential.”

We are grateful to Moner Ronger Pathshala for their inspiring work and for welcoming us into this journey of hope and learning. Together, we are working to ensure that no child in Kurigram is left behind in the era of technology.
