Bilingual WordPress site for a Dhaka University student organization, with an events calendar, press archive, and photo gallery.
A student organization needed a bilingual site to publish policy documents, cover events, and share news with members. We built a WordPress site on Astra and Elementor Pro with a dedicated events calendar and media archive.
For the Dhaka University chapter of the Bangladesh Nationalist Student League (JCD), we built a bilingual WordPress site to host the organization's policy documents, committee information, and day-to-day news coverage in both Bengali and English.
The site runs on the Astra theme with Elementor Pro for page building, and uses The Events Calendar plugin to list inter-hall tournaments, competitions, and campus programs with a dedicated events widget. A press and notice section publishes statements and reports as they're issued, alongside a photo gallery for event coverage. The site also includes a membership sign-up form and a submission form for written member testimonials.
Longer policy documents — including proposed DUCSU constitutional reforms and multi-point program papers — are published as structured pages rather than static PDFs, making them easier to browse and share on both desktop and mobile.
