Dandelionz Portal

School management portal for a daycare, preschool, and activity center in Dhaka.

Running a childcare center on spreadsheets and WhatsApp threads falls apart the moment you have more than a handful of families. Dandelionz Portal puts admissions, billing, attendance, daily reports, and parent communication into one system — with separate panels for management, office staff, accounts, teachers, and parents.

Dandelionz is a daycare, preschool, and extracurricular activity center in Dhaka. Before the portal existed, admissions came in through paper forms and phone calls, payments were tracked in Excel, and parents had no way to check their child's status without messaging someone on WhatsApp. Cloud Number 24 built this portal to replace all of that.

The system runs on five role-separated panels. Parents go through a multi-step admission flow — choose between daycare, preschool, or activity programs, fill in child and guardian details, upload documents, and submit. On the other side, office staff review applications, accept or reject uploaded documents with notes, and move admissions through their pipeline. The accounts team creates invoices, verifies payment proof (bKash, bank transfer, or cash), issues printable slips, and manages a full ledger. Teachers handle attendance, daily reports, lesson plans, and parent messages from their own panel. Management sees everything.

We built it on Laravel 12 and Filament 5. Filament handles all five admin panels natively — we stayed inside its component vocabulary instead of bolting custom UI on top. The public site and admission flow are custom Blade pages with a frosted-glass navigation bar and the Dandelionz brand colors (a deep green and a magenta accent). Payment verification is manual for now. bKash API integration is on the roadmap.
