IAAS Central Website (BD)
Organizational website and admin platform for IAAS Bangladesh's national chapter.
IAAS Bangladesh is a student-led organization spread across university chapters around the country, and they needed more than a static brochure site. Cloud Number 24 built them a full CMS-backed website with role-based admin panels, event management, a publications hub, alumni networking, and an exchange program (ExPro) portal — all manageable by chapter-level volunteers without touching code.
Running a nationwide student organization on spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups has an obvious ceiling. IAAS Bangladesh — the national chapter of the International Association of Students in Agricultural and Related Sciences — had outgrown that ceiling. They needed a public website that could handle content from 20+ local chapters, manage events with registration deadlines, publish blogs and podcasts, and give their alumni association a proper online home. All of it editable by people who aren't developers.
We built a Laravel 12 application with seven separate Filament admin panels, each scoped to a specific role: Super Admin, LC Admin, LC Member, ExPro Admin, Blog Contributor, Podcast Manager, and Task Admin. The public-facing site covers everything — "Who We Are" pages with history, mission, and vision sections, a national committee directory with current and archived terms, local chapter profiles with member listings, an events calendar with category filtering and organizer attribution, a project showcase with approval workflows, a career gateway, a downloads library, a donation page, and a fully CMS-managed navigation menu with nested dropdowns. The ExPro section handles exchange site listings, intern spotlights, testimonials, and registration links. Profile recommendation pages generate QR codes automatically so members can share their profiles offline.
The trickiest part was the permissions model. Seven panels, role-scoped content visibility, chapter-level data isolation for LC admins, and an approval pipeline where projects and blogs go through draft to pending to approved states before they show up publicly. We used Spatie's permission package for role management, Filament Breezy for two-factor auth and avatar uploads, and a custom menu builder so the org can restructure their navigation without a deploy.
