Overview ManEvSis is a premier, minority-owned IT solutions provider that connects federal, state, and local agencies with mission-critical technology. As a holder of the DIR-CPO-5851 contract, the company serves as a vital procurement hub for services ranging from Cyber Security and Data Lifecycle Management to complex hardware supply chains. The goal of this project was to transform their digital presence from a static informational site into a dynamic, full-service procurement platform that reflects their status as a trusted government partner.

The Challenge: Legacy Constraints & Data Latency The organization’s previous infrastructure was hosted on a restrictive GoDaddy environment that relied on rigid templates and manual content management. This legacy setup presented critical bottlenecks:

• Static Inventory: Managing thousands of IT products manually resulted in outdated pricing and frequent "out of stock" issues.

• Flat Architecture: The system lacked the ability to distinguish between internal administrators, authorized dealers, and government procurement officers, forcing all users into a single, insecure workflow.

• Scalability Issues: As ManEvSis secured larger contracts like DIR-CPO-5851, the existing site could not support the necessary integrations with major supply chain partners or display their extensive portfolio of certifications (HUB, DBE, MBE, PMP) effectively.

The Solution: A Real-Time, Multi-Tenant Commerce Engine We engineered a sophisticated, custom Laravel architecture designed to act as a "Virtual Warehouse." Instead of syncing millions of records into a local database—which leads to stale data—we built a system that queries the supply chain in real-time. By integrating directly with a major American IT distribution giant’s API, the platform bridges the gap between global logistics and local government needs, offering instant visibility into the US supply chain.

Key Deliverables

• Real-Time Distributor API Integration: We developed a high-performance service layer that connects to an American IT distributor's secure endpoints. When a user views a product, the system instantly queries the distributor for live Price and Availability. This ensures that government clients are always presented with accurate stock levels and up-to-the-second pricing, eliminating the risk of backorders on critical infrastructure.

• Multi-Panel Filament Architecture: To solve the access control issues, we implemented distinct Filament Panels for different user roles.

  • Admin Panel: Full control over margins, API settings, and content.

  • Dealer/Agency Panel: A simplified, procurement-focused dashboard that allows authorized partners to view contract-specific pricing and place orders.

  • This separation ensures strict data isolation and compliance with security standards required for government work.

• Automated Dynamic Pricing Engine: The platform features a custom logic engine that automatically calculates the final customer price. It takes the live cost price from the API, applies a pre-configured margin based on the specific contract or user role, and displays the final price instantly—protecting ManEvSis's margins without manual intervention.

• Trust-Building UI/UX Overhaul: The interface was completely redesigned to prioritize credibility. We created dedicated sections to showcase Technical Experience and Certifications (CSTE, PMP, HUB), and integrated the DIR-CPO-5851 contract details directly into the header and footer. The result is a professional, accessible aesthetic that assures public sector clients of the platform's reliability and compliance.
