WordPress vs Custom Website: Which One Should Your Business Choose?

The WordPress vs custom website question usually gets answered badly. Some people sell WordPress as the answer to everything. Others act like custom code is automatically superior. Both are lazy answers.

The right choice depends on what the website has to do.

WordPress is a content management system. It is useful when your business needs pages, blog posts, service details, images, forms, SEO tools, and regular content updates. Choose WordPress if your goal is a professional business website, faster launch, easy content updates, and a reasonable budget. Choose custom development if the website must run business operations, manage users, process complex data, or support a workflow that plugins cannot handle cleanly.
